Periodically, Hubby has stacks and stacks of maps that he has to throw out. I can't stand to see this beautiful paper tossed in the trash, so I have adopted the paper for my equally periodic creativity.
I love to use his old maps as wrapping paper!

What would you do with a stack of maps? Please help me with some ideas to use this paper!
You could stick it to cork board and make a really awesome message board. Or laminate it and make place mats. Or you could use it to scrap book. Lots of potential :-)
We have wall-papered Mike's office with his maps....problem is, the office is covered now! :) But luckily, MV's nursery theme is old world and maps fit in perfectly!

Such a great idea.. and a great money saver too! I love maps.. I have an old magazine holder and bookcase that I want to Mod Podge with some maps that I got at a garage sale! Thanks so much for sharing with the Pink Hippo Party.. can't wait to see what you share next!
