I don't really understand all the fuss about not celebrating Christmas until after Thanksgiving. I just got a huge dose of Christmas as I ran my errands this morning. And you know what? I loved every minute of it.
Christmas is a time when our savior's name is displayed everywhere for all to see (and hear). It's a time when Christ's birth is highlighted.
It's a time when people seem happier, more patient, more forgiving, more charitable. And who can blame them when everything is beautiful and sparkly?
It's a time that brings about warm, nostalgic feelings.
It's a time to laugh and have fun.

I say, bring on Christmas as early as possible! We can all use a little Christmas cheer year-round!

DeleteYay, it is a very exciting time! Even across the globe here in Deutschland, the German stores have garland and decorations, figurines, and candy out for the Christmas Consumer. I say, let the people rejoice!
