  1. Great list...

    Psalm 91 is also known as the Soldier's Psalm...

    Verses 14-16
    The Lord says "I will rescue those who love me,

    I will protect those who trust in my name. When they call on me, I will answer;

    I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them.

    I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation."

    I blogged about it recently here... http://www.household6diva.com/2010/03/not-enough-time.html

  2. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 -- Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.

    Philippians 4:6-7 -- Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

    Romans 12:12 -- Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

    1 Peter 1:6-7 -- In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.

    Some that have helped me through deployments! ;o))) The first one has helped so much...I've learned to always think positive & remember that everything happens for a reason & God ALWAYS has a plan!
