Quantico, VA(and the surrounding area, seeing as how it is Quantico)

- Potomac Point Winery
- There are cute restaurants in Q-Town. Grab something to go and take it to the Marina or fishing areas for a picnic.
- The Base movie theater offers super cheap, new movies.
- Free yoga classes at the gym
- Downtown Fredericksburg-TONS of great restaurants and shopping
- Fredericksburg Battlefield site
- Mt. Vernon (my favorite!)
- Go to the Marine Corps Ball!
- Potomac Mills (if you can stomach it)
- Colonial Williamsburg (free tickets offered to military and their dependents during Veteren's Day weekend)
- Paddy's Irish Pub in Stafford
- Brunch at the Officer's Club
- Historic Occoquan-again, great shopping and scenery is this old downtown
- Lunga Park
- Check out the amazing library on base!
- County library (offers free DVD rentals!)
- Go to Warrior Day!
- Alexandria-For those Aggies out there, watching Aggie Football at the Crystal City Sports Bar (complete with Yell Practice and Blue Bell!)
Washington, DC-TONS of stuff of course (most of it is FREE!!!) but my favorites are:
- The Decatur House
- Hot dog vendors
- Fado Irish Pub (in Chinatown...haha!)
- Looking at the White House
- Eastern Market
- Midnight monument hopping
- People watching on the mall
- 8th and I Parade
- Sculpture Garden
- National Archives
