Top 5 things I do when I see a license plate from my home state...
- Assume they are actually from my home state and don't just have the car registered there.
- Either speed up or slow down so I can get a better look.
- Examine other car "flair" to find out more about this home state native. College? Military affiliation? Stick figure kids?
- Give a quick little wave if they catch me looking at them and silently cringe with embarrassment.
- Drive on and feel like another little piece of home is driving close by.

ReplyDeleteI have to laugh only because I COMPLETELY understand and can relate!!
ReplyDeletehehe! I know what you mean. When my husband and I were in the military, license plates were definitely peeked at and if they were from our home state we would investigate further. :0) I ended up working in Florida with someone who had gone to my same high school in California. And when we moved back to Cali, we moved in next door to some people who had lived on the same base as us back in Florida! It's such a small world when you're in the military.
ReplyDeletePS: Thanks for entering the giveaway on my blog!
I used to do the same things! Now that we are in Hawaii, we don't get to anymore :(
